Plastic cards can be used as business cards, gift cards, membership cards, ID cards, loyalty cards, key cards, discount cards, VIP cards, promotional cards and other uses.

Plas­tic cards are made from PVC which is a kind of durable and water­proof plas­tic mate­r­i­al. The main PVC mate­r­i­al for plas­tic card pro­duc­tion are white PVC and clear PVC. Coloured PVC such as black PVC, red PVC, orange PVC also sup­port­ed.

With cutomized design print­ed, the plas­tic cards can be used as busi­ness cards, gift cards, mem­ber­ship cards, ID cards, loy­al­ty cards, key cards, dis­count cards, VIP cards, pro­mo­tion­al cards and oth­er uses.

The stan­dard size of the plas­tic card is 85.5*54*0.76mm (CR80 size, 30mil) round cor­ners, same like cred­it card. Most peo­ple pur­chase stan­dard size plas­tic card direct­ly because it’s nor­mal and easy for pro­duc­tion and the cost are cheap­er than cus­tom shape card.

Com­pared with stan­dard size plas­tic cards, cus­tom shape cards are more attrac­tive and impres­sive. Cus­tom die-cut cards can help you stand out from the com­pe­ti­tion and increase your brand’s vis­i­bil­i­ty. Com­mon cus­tom shape cards like key tags, door hang­ers, lug­gage tags etc are wild­ly used. We can build a cus­tom die that will cut the sheet into any shape imag­in­able.

The main print­ing meth­ods for plas­tic card print­ing are off­set print­ing, silk print­ing and dig­i­tal print­ing. Equiped with pro­fes­sion­al print­ers such as Hei­del­berg off­set print­er, HP dig­i­tal print­ers. Besides print­ing, there are a lot of per­son­al­iza­tions can be made on plas­tic cards. Per­son­al­iza­tions can make the cards more out­stand­ing and mul­ti­func­tion­al.

The fin­ish on plas­tic card can deter­mine the over­all look and feel of the final prod­uct. Our most pop­u­lar fin­ish­es are over­lay glossy fin­ish and mat­te fin­ish. Oth­er options like metal­lic fin­ish, laced fin­ish, mir­row fin­ish makes the plas­tic card more attrac­tive.

Bar­code are fre­quent­ly-used on gift cards, mem­ber­ship cards, ID cards, loy­al­ty cards and cus­tom key tags. It can be scanned by bar­code scan­ner and work with the POS sys­tem. There are many dif­fer­ent types of bar­codes, the most com­mon are Code 39, Code 128, Code 93, EAN 13, Code­Bar, QR code. For bar­code print­ing, we often use ther­mal print­ing and DOD print­ing, some­times dig­i­tal print­ing.

Mag­net­ic stripes are the strip of mag­net­ic mate­r­i­al often seen on the back of gift cards, loy­al­ty cards and mem­ber­ship cards, which are used in con­junc­tion with POS sys­tem. Mag­net­ic stripe cards are also used in access con­trol as key cards, as well as on ID cards. They come in two main vari­eties: HiCo and LoCo. Besides nor­mal black mag­net­ic stripe, we also pro­vide col­ored mag­net­ic stripe like sliv­er, gold, red, blue, green and brown.

Foil stamp­ing is a good option if you want to add shine to your design. Use foil on your name, logo or any oth­er area that you want to stand out. Foil stamp­ing is per­fect for foil stamped busi­ness cards, loy­al­ty cards, gift cards and more. Foil stamp­ing is avali­able in a vari­ety pat­terns and col­ors, most often seen in gold or sil­ver.

Sig­na­ture pan­els make it eas­i­er to write on cards with any type of pen. Sig­na­ture pan­els aren’t just for cus­tomer sig­na­tures. They can also be used to add any type of infor­ma­tion at a lat­er time, includ­ing expi­ra­tion date, mem­ber name, mem­ber join date, card dol­lar val­ue, or any oth­er infor­ma­tion. Sig­na­ture pan­els are per­fect for mem­ber­ship cards, loy­al­ty cards and more. Nor­mal sig­na­ture pan­els are white sig­na­ture pan­el and clear sig­na­ture pan­el.

Spot UV is a clear sub­stance applied over the top of a print area. Spot UV cards make a big first impres­sion, espe­cial­ly when com­bined with plas­tic card mate­r­i­al. This shiny fin­ish coat­ing draws atten­tion to these areas and adds visu­al inter­est on the card sur­face.

Vari­able data con­tains sequen­tial or ran­dom num­bers, con­tact infor­ma­tion, bar­codes etc. These vari­able datas can be print­ed by ther­mal print­er or DOD print­er. DOD print­ing col­or is black. Ther­mal print­ing col­or are more selec­tive, such as black, white, gold, sil­ver.

Embossed num­ber­ing is what you see used on cred­it cards and mem­ber­ship cards. Emboss­ing plas­tic cards is the process of apply­ing machine-read­able char­ac­ters to a card. The char­ac­ters are stamped into the back side of the card, and are vis­i­ble on the front side as raised char­ac­ters. Embossed plas­tic cards are per­fect for mem­ber­ship cards and loy­al­ty cards, but can be used on any card.
