How to Produce Plastic Membership Card?

To produce a plastic membership card, you can follow the following general steps:

, Determin the design and content of membership card: this includes the membership card size, shape, color and any branding or membership information that needs to be included;

, Choose a printing method for membership cards: there are some membership card printing methods to be considered, such as digital printing, offset printing and screen printing. Digital printing is ofter used for smaller runs, while offset and screen printing are more suitable for large quantities;

, Choose membership card material: membership cards are typically made of PVC plastic, but other materials such as PET or polycarbonate (PC) can be used as well;

, Choose membership card thickness: plastic cards come in different thickness, usually ranging from 0.2mm to 2mm. Standard thickness is 0.76mm. Thicker cards are more durable but can be more expensive;

, Membership cards printing: once the design, printing method, plastic material and card thickness have been determined, the membership cards can be printed;

, Add any finishing personliaztion items: this can include adding a magnetic stripe, signature panel, barcode or other personliaztion features depending on the needs of the membership program;

, Membership card testing: before distributing the cards, it’s important to check that they are all printed correctly and that any additional features work as intended;

, Distribute the membership cards: the finished cards can be distributed to members then.
